Get The Staff Involved
The day in age when you just send home the order forms and hope for a big sale are over. The staff needs to step up to the plate from the teachers to the administration.
The teachers and the principal are the MOST IMPORTANT, INFLUENTIAL, AND POWERFUL people that the kids see every day. The teacher is like a third parent, and the principal is like the President of the United States in their world.
If the Kids see that the teachers and the principal do NOT care about the sale... why should they? IT IS IMPORTANT TO GET THE STAFF INVOLVED and TO GET THEM TO PROMOTE the fundraising sale. Fundraisers are only around for 2 weeks or so... so why don't we do it right from the very beginning!
The Cookie DOugh Man has some unique tricks and incentives to keep the teachers motivated. They are the commanders on the FRONT LINES of FUNDRAISING BATTLE! Let's make sure that they are compensated for their extra effort!

The Kids don't care what you sell!
When was the last time a student participated in a fundrasier out of the goodness in their heart? It has probably been a while! THERE ARE 2 IMPORTANT FACTS:
KIDS SELL FOR THE PRIZES. PERIOD.
PARENTS ONLY SELL WHEN THEIR KIDS BUG THEM ENOUGH! LOL!
Be sure that you are giving the BEST quality, HARD TO FIND prizes to the students. You don't want to give away prizes that the parents can easilly buy at WAL-MART. They are likely to skip the fundraiser all together.
You want to provide an EXPERIENCE as a part of the incentive package.
AN EXPERIENCE: A motivating activity that only the participants of the fundraiser will be able to be a part of. It also has to be something the parent can't buy for the student!
The Cookie Dough Man provides a Prize Program that is designed to MAXIMIZE participation and REWARD the students better than any other company. Call the Cookie Dough Man to get the scoop on prizes.

Does the kickoff matter?
In this economy you can't afford skipping the ASSEMBLY. Most of the time you only have ONE SHOT to get the kids motivated to sell. Schools that have assemblies do 40% more in SALES than schools that choose not to have one.
DO NOT ALLOW THE KINDERGARTEN KIDS TO MISS OUT ON THE ASSEMBLY! THEY ARE USUALLY THE BIGGEST SELLERS IN THE SCHOOL!
Sometimes the school Principal is worried about the assembly taking away valuble class time... but the monetary rewards of haveing an assembly will allow the school to purchase MORE TOOLS for the kids' education.
Q. What is a 20 minute assembly worth?
A. The ability to buy 5 new computers instead of 1
THE COOKIE DOUGH MAN OFFERS AN ASSEMBLY THAT HAS TO BE SEEN TO BELIEVE! YOU WILL NOT SEE A BETTER SHOW!

TOO MANY FUNDRAISERS CAN KILL YOUR BUDGET!
It is a known fact that people buy from fundraisers for one reason: the kids! It is also a fact that the majority of the fundraising sales for your school comes from your families' friends, relatives and coworkers.
Why would you risk agggravating the people that you depend on by constantly hitting them up for their hard-earned disposable income?
IF YOU CARED ABOUT YOUR BUDGET... YOU WOULD NOT DO IT!
There are too many schools who choose to send home more fundraisers than homework. In order for fundraising to be effective, you have to use the golden rule for fundraising:
DO THEM FEW AND DO THEM WELL!
Eliminate all of the un-necessary small fundrasiers like the pizza hut night, burger king night and the before school lollypop sale and you will make everyone happy (especially the parents).
Follow these simple rules and you will be set up for success:
1. Never have more than 2 product sales!
2. ONLY ONE SALE in the Fall!
3. ONLY ONE SALE in the Spring!
If your PTA and your school can't decide on who gets what (fall or spring)... you should trade off every other year. That should solve any issues.
